We expect all players to arrive on time and prepared for their coaching session with appropriate equipment, including:
Suitable sports clothing and tennis shoes
A drink bottle and hat (especially during summer)
A tennis racquet (unless pre-arranged to borrow one)
For safety reasons, players are not permitted to participate if they are barefoot.
Both Junior and Adult coaching schedules follow the Browns Bay Primary School term calendar. All group and individual sessions are booked for the full school term.
Invoices are issued during the school holidays prior to each term, with full payment required before the first week of coaching (unless otherwise arranged) to secure your place in the programme.
Invoices are sent via Xero, and payment can be made by bank transfer or online through Stripe.
If payment remains outstanding more than two weeks after the programme start date, we reserve the right to offer the player’s place to another participant.
If you are unable to attend a session, please notify our team in advance.
We offer make-up lessons or credits if a session cannot go ahead due to:
Poor weather conditions
Player or coach illness/injury
Player or coach being away overseas
We aim to provide at least 30 minutes’ notice for any session cancellations, communicated via our WhatsApp Group Chats.
No refunds or credits are provided for missed sessions due to personal scheduling conflicts or alternative plans.
We offer a casual attendance option for players who cannot commit to weekly group lessons.
Casual attendees are charged per session, with a $5 surcharge added to the standard hourly class rate.
Players may be included in photos or videos for promotional use (e.g. website, social media, email communications). Players will not be identified by name.
If you prefer not to be included in any media, please contact us in advance.
All players are expected to:
Show respect to coaches and fellow players
Use appropriate language
Follow coaching instructions
Demonstrate good sportsmanship
If a player does not meet these expectations:
A warning will be issued
Continued behaviour may result in the player being asked to sit out temporarily
For junior players, parents/guardians will be contacted if necessary.
Ongoing behavioural issues may result in removal from the programme. In this case, a refund will be provided for any remaining prepaid sessions.
Players must disclose any injuries or medical conditions that may affect their participation.
A basic first aid kit and AED defibrillator are available on-site.
Players are under the coach’s supervision during their scheduled session time only. Before and after sessions, responsibility remains with the parent/guardian. Please ensure timely drop-off and pick-up, particularly for junior players.
By enrolling in any of our programmes (group coaching, private lessons, academy, or holiday camps), you agree to the above terms and conditions.
